NOVA Chiropractic & Acupuncture makes it a priority to be able to offer patients cost effective options for treatments and therapies.
In-Network Insurance
NOVA Chiropractic & Acupuncture is in-network with all Carefirst, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna and Anthem insurances. Typically patients will pay a co-pay or coinsurance for all treatments except for Laser Therapy, and if the insurance plan includes a deductible the patient will only pay the contracted rates set by the insurances.
Out-of-Network Insurance
We are Out-of-Network with the following insurances including United Healthcare, GEHA, and Mail Handlers. If you have insurance not listed here, please contact our office and we will discuss any additional insurances.
Medicare
NOVA Chiropractic & Acupuncture accepts all Medicare patients. Medicare only covers the chiropractic adjustment, examinations and any additional therapies are the responsibility of the patient. If you have a secondary insurance we will submit any charges to the secondary insurance for payment. If you do not have a secondary insurance our out of pocket rates are affordable.
Acupuncture Fees
New Patient Appointment: 1 hour, $125
Review of your entire health history and your current health concerns. History of current health concerns, diagnosis, AcuGraph analysis and acupuncture (or non-needle acupuncture) treatment. May include up to 15 minutes of bodywork such as massage, cupping, gua sha, moxa, electro-acupuncture, vibrational therapy and/or frequency specific microcurrent if indicated.
Acupuncture Follow-Up: 20-30 minutes, $75
Acupuncture treatment and, if needed, an herbal prescription and nutritional recommendations. May include up to 20 minutes of bodywork such as stretching, cupping, gua sha, moxa, electro-acupuncture, vibrational therapy and/or frequency specific microcurrent if indicated.
